Meet Joel M. Winston, founder of Winstonville Community Foundation.
OUR FOUNDER
Joel M. Winston
Joel founded Winstonville Community Foundation out of a personal commitment to his hometown and a belief in the strength and potential of its people.
His background spans business development, technology consulting, nonprofit work, and the performing arts. His music and production experience includes work with Harry Belafonte, followed by the creation of Urban Marketing Concepts and Arts Marketing Group.
Through WCF, Joel brings those experiences to a local purpose: building connections, encouraging entrepreneurship, and helping develop opportunities for Winstonville and surrounding communities.

Originally from Mississippi and now based in Hutto, Texas, Joel has lived and worked in Michigan, Ohio, California, and Texas. He is a father, grandfather, and active church member.
He is inviting local residents and others who care about Winstonville to contribute their perspectives, experience, and leadership to the foundation’s development.
